Weber State University's 23rd Annual Diversity Conference

The first client that I worked with in Fall 2021 was for Weber State’s Annual Diversity Conference. We were approached by the client to find ways to promote the event in hopes of increasing attendance from previous years.

One of our team’s objectives was to implement outreach tactics to invite students, faculty, and staff to attend the conference. Our other objective was to ensure that the event ran smoothly throughout the presentations. ​ The team reached out to different organizations at Weber State University to help promote the event on social media. We drafted emails and social media captions to send out to the organizations. ​ On the day of the event, our team and other members of OPC volunteered to help out at the event. There were student moderators and other students in live viewing rooms to make sure the event ran smoothly.
