Chelsea Ann Baxa

Chelsea Ann Baxa is an aspiring PR practitioner dedicated to sharing stories of individuals and organizations. She is a recent graduate holding a degree in communication with an emphasis in public relations and advertising from Weber State University (WSU). She was part of the WSU Honors program, the President of Weber State’s Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA), an account executive at Ogden Peak Communications (OPC), Weber State’s student-run public relations firm and Volunteer Coordinator at KWCR Wildcat Radio, Weber State's student-run radio station.

Chelsea worked on three teams at OPC, first as a practitioner and then as an account executive. She has led two teams at OPC: The Diversity Conference team and the UTA team. Her most recent team worked to implement promotional tactics for the UTA OGX line. They created brochures, digital signage, news releases, radio scripts, social media posts, a survey and t-shirts. The team also held promotional booths at Weber State University to encourage students to sign up for the UTA ED PASS and to inform them about the UTA OGX line. She has also supervised the KWCR street team and implemented marketing tactics at KWCR Wildcat Radio.
