After we finished working on the Diversity Conference, our team joined the UTA team to help prepare for and promote the launch of the new UTA OGX bus route.

Our team’s first objective was to create a research plan to understand the students, faculty, and staffs’ perceptions of public transportation. Our other objective was to build a marketing plan for next semester’s team to implement.
We distributed a survey that ran throughout the month of November that looked into the survey respondents' perceptions of public transportation and their reasons as to why they use/do not use public transportation. We promoted the survey through social media posts, flyers with QR codes around campus and a booth in Sheperd Union.
We then used the research we collected to compile a marketing plan for next semester’s team to implement. This marketing plan was presented to the UTA team and included a survey report, research opportunities, SWOT analysis, GOST analysis, product, price, promotion and placement.
