Sunnyside Daycare & Preschool Website Re-Design

At my internship with Sunnyside Daycare & Preschool, I was tasked with redesigning the company's website along with managing its Facebook page.

These are some screenshots of what the website looked like before I began redesigning.

Their previous website only consisted of a home page and a contact page. There was no other information regarding the programs, enrollment, events, or job openings.

After consulting with my supervisors, I added three new pages and a dropdown menu for parent resources. In the dropdown, it has a calendar of future events and information about the preschool program.

The company wanted to continue to use the pictures they already had so I made sure to follow their wishes. In the "About Us" section, I included more information about how the company runs daily along with their safety and health precautions.

For their "Enroll Now" section, I provided information about childcare rates, preschool enrollment, state assistance, and a way to apply for enrollment through the website.

For the "Parent Resources" section, I connected the website calendar with a Google Calendar that holds all future events. The "Preschool" section includes more information about the program's goal and insight into the weekly lesson plans.

The "Jobs" section has lists of available jobs and a way to apply through the website.

As of right now, I am continuously updating the website with job listings, events, and new announcements. To see the full website, click the button below.
